Masterful pasta arrives on Baker Street
The Good Food Society has opened the doors of their new Italian bar and restaurant, Caffè Cinquanta, in the heart of London. This stylish restaurant offers timeless, classic Italian cooking alongside quality wines, cocktails and beers, pairing simplicity and elegance in equal measure.
Seating up to 84 guests within the open plan dining room, the restaurant also offers diners the chance to sit at the bar where they can watch the mixologists at work or settle on the mini terrace area with bustling views of Baker Street.
Open daily from 11am to 11pm, Caffè Cinquanta serves a light Italian breakfast of pastries and fresh coffee before switching to the all-day menu at midday. The main menu features Italian dishes all made fresh with the highest quality ingredients imported directly from Italy. The menu also boasts daily changing specials and amazing Italian signature dishes, including Rigatoni alla Carbonara, Spaghetti Pomodoro con la n’duja, Zucchini Trombetta and Carciofi e Fava.
Guests can look forward to a drinks menu that matches the food offering, with classic Italian spirits and house wines gracing the menu and will be able to choose from cocktails such as a classic Negroni, Aperol Spritz and Espresso Martini.
The restaurant has inviting interiors which have been designed by B3 and are themed around 1950’s Italy, with classic décor and vintage details. Caffè Cinquanta will soon become a firm favourite with tourists and Baker Street locals alike. The restaurant’s passionate team will also be looking to engage within the local community by running regular projects and neighbourhood events throughout the year.
